"Sisters by chance, friends by choice"
This title i got from a magnet Kassandra gave to me when she got back from her master's degree in the US. She is coming to visit me abroad one more time. I can't wait to see her, to hug her, to endlessly speak with her. I am so but so excited and moved that i really need this post to ease my anxiety a bit.
The first time she came to visit abroad when when i was living in Saint Peteresburg, Florida. Since I arrived in St Pete, in every corner of the city i went i started picturing we two discovering it and having fun. She arrived there for Christmas and stayed for about 6 weeks. during this time we did some traveling to nearby cities, and also to others not so nearby, such as Daytona Beach and Miami.
My heart is jumping, i don't know where to start from writing here. i feel overwhelmed with so much emotion. i'll just keep jotting down the words here. maybe, if so, my heart will help me write something that makes some sense in the end.
Saint Petersburg - when Kassandra arrived to visit for Christmas time i was living at the French House, along with other 20 international students. at this time my life was a lot about hanging out with people, and having fun. i was going to school as well, in a language school called Tomlinson Adult Language Center, where i had the chance to improve my English and to meet a bunch of new people from all over the world.
She stayed with me at the French house. I had a red Daihatsu Charade, a small Japanese car which drove all over the place. I drove it for short trips, like to Clearwater, Tampa, oh boyu, what's the name of the charming Greek village? can't remember now. but the point is we did so many nice things together, along with Antonio, my closest friend at the time, and has become a heart brother. We went to the parks in Orlando, always ALWAYS laughing and having fun like crazy.
For new year's eve we decided to travel to Miami. for that trip we rented a big brand new car. we had a blast in Miami. we even went to a Dolce and Gabbana fashion shown in South Beach. awesome!!! we were staying in a hotel in Fort Lauderdale and on our way back home we got lost. in a second two police cars were stopped right behind us, simply because i entered one road, realized i was wrong, and decided to drive back a few meters. at the hotel there were some interesting guests. Julia was also with us.
Hi kalina!
